Project Overview
The Magic Board is an AI-powered extended reality (XR) interface designed to reimagine daily scheduling through spatial, voice-activated interaction. Built for tech-forward professionals managing complex workflows, the system transforms a mobile whiteboard into an adaptive, cross-platform planning tool—bridging physical and digital experience.

Problem Space
Most organizational tools—whether analog or app-based—are fragmented, screen-dependent, and poorly suited to hands-free or neurodivergent workflows. The challenge: create a seamless life-management interface that retains tactile familiarity while offering AI-powered flexibility and multimodal control.

Solution Highlights

• XR + AI Integration: Designed a dual-sided mobile whiteboard augmented by an AI assistant (e.g., ChatGPT) that responds to voice input, auto-generates schedules and charts, and adapts to user behavior over time.

• Multi-Surface Ecosystem: Developed a cohesive system spanning a physical interface, spatial display, and a companion mobile app—ensuring real-time updates across touchpoints.

• Ambient Workflow Support: Included features like a morning dashboard, voice briefings, and proactive AI suggestions that reduce decision fatigue and support executive function.

Research & Design Process

• Conducted user research focused on XR designers and neurodivergent creatives with a preference for non-linear, multimodal planning systems.

• Mapped service flows and usage environments to ensure functional alignment across in-home and mobile contexts.

• Produced detailed wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and a branded design system covering UI, typography, iconography, and voice tone.

Outcomes & Impact

• Delivered a fully spec’d prototype and mobile companion concept supporting multimodal, AI-enhanced scheduling.

• Demonstrated the service potential of conversational interfaces for spatial interaction and inclusive workflow design.

• Positioned the product as a future-forward interface blending physical affordances with AI agency—supporting next-gen productivity and well-being.
