The XR Throne is a next-generation augmented reality (AR) wellness solution that merges biofeedback, biomat technology, and a smartphone companion app to deliver immersive, culturally grounded healing experiences. Challenge:
Conventional wellness devices often overlook the cultural and environmental impact of their production and design. The XR Throne seeks to:

• Reframe technology as a tool for healing and cultural stewardship, centering African land, knowledge, and resources in its design and narrative.

• Develop a culturally resonant, ethically sourced wellness experience that integrates biofeedback and biomat technologies while respecting African traditions and practices.

• Ensure that the product is accessible, inclusive, and technologically advanced, merging ancient wisdom with modern, AI-enhanced design.

Approach:

• Research & Cultural Analysis: Conducted in-depth research on African ancestral healing practices, identifying drumming meditations, solfeggio frequencies, and bioresonance patterns as key elements to incorporate into the XR Throne experience.

• Ethical Design & Material Sourcing: The XR Throne was conceptualized using recycled metals and sustainable materials, aligning with principles of cultural stewardship and environmental responsibility.

• AR Integration & App Development: Designed a smartphone companion app that activates the throne’s AR capabilities, offering guided meditations, sound healing frequencies, and biofeedback monitoring to support emotional and physiological balance.

• AI-Enhanced User Experience: Leveraged AI tools to refine both the aesthetic and functional elements of the XR Throne, ensuring that its visual language aligns with its spiritual and cultural narrative.
