TESSERACT :
AUGMENTED REALITY POSTER DESIGN
Synopsis:
Fascinated by dimensionality, space-time, physics, and metaphysics, I designed an Educational AR Poster using cutting-edge technology. The minimal black, white, and grey palette directs attention to the mathematical, educational, and visual content, while the AR experience animates the poster. Geometry extends dynamically off the surface, seamlessly blending the physical and digital realms.
The Process:
The project involved thorough research, manual sketching, digital illustration, iterative critiques, and refinement. Integration spanned from vector design to AR implementation, followed by physical poster printing and testing AR components using an iPhone app.
Objective:
This poster presents a distinct and engaging application of AR. Interactive layers enhance or transform the printed information, fostering continuous engagement with the design and content. The layout exemplifies a sophisticated use of color, imagery, and typography, creating a visually mature and immersive learning experience.
Result/Outcome:
The final design successfully merges the physical and digital, offering an engaging educational tool that captivates users. Feedback highlights the poster’s compelling interactivity, innovative use of AR, and visually striking design, solidifying it as a showcase for AR's potential in design contexts.
